2011 G 5' 4 Vanessa Winston is one of the most intriguing prospects in the Cen-Tex Area with a great feel for the game.The first team All District player racked upped 20 points, dropped 8 assist, and added 4 rebounds along with 6 steals on Wednesday night against Bowie. What is most impressive about the combo guard is her ability to create her own shot. Vanessa has great range from the perimeter and can be very explosive at attacking the basket. She moves very well off the ball with a comfort level in the open court to make great plays. Vanessa has committed to trying out for our Texas D-1 Ambassadors Varsity Flagship Team.
The junior guard is continuing to develop as a player and will be a huge impact for the Lady Eagles as district play is underway.
