In a game that saw double digit lead changes, the Texas D-1 Ambassadors overcame a 5 point deficit with less than 2 minutes remaining to snag the victory over the Lakeshow from the Bay Area of California.
Despite foul trouble limiting his first half minutes, 2011 G Deon Mitchell of Pflugerville showed why he is a high major player as he scorched the opponent for 24 points. Mitchell hit three triples and ran the pick and roll to perfection resulting in a textbook MONSTER dunk by W 6'7" Andre Roberson. Roberson had a double double with 15 points & 10 rebounds.
2011 W Jalen Washington of Pflugerville had 11 pts, 4 assists & 6 rebounds. He had a highlight reel dunk where he pentrated in the lane and THUNDERED over a helpless defender.
2011 WG Jaleel Williams (Below) of Killeen Ellison had 10 points and 4 assists.
David Hahn 6 points 6 rebounds 4 blocks
Jaleel Williams 10 points 4 assists
Reinier Strobos 3 points
Alex Caruso 4 points
Dylan Elias 2 points 4 assists
Jake Kocher 10 points
This is a team winning by committee, with everyone seeing substantial playing time and sharing the ball. If anything, we've been almost too unselfish in a couple of situations with guys close to the goal giving up sure buckets.
