Yes, he has found a team. Seven-time NBA Allstar, Tracy McGrady has agreed to sign a 1-year, $1.3M deal with the Detroit Pistons.
On the weekend it was reported that Pistons were very interested in McGrady. T-Mac's agent, Arn Tellem, met with Pistons officials on Monday and convinced them that McGrady was willing to play whatever role that they asked him to.
McGrady also worked out for the LA Clippers and the Chicago Bulls. T-Mac said that Chicago was the place where he wanted to be. Chicago was reluctant to sign McGrady because they weren't sure if he would agree to a small role. The Bulls signed G Keith Bogans and that's when McGrady knew he wouldn't be going there.
This deal doesn't make a lot of sense for Detroit. They now have several wing players which include, Richard Hamilton, Ben Gordon, Tayshaun Prince, Austin Daye and now T-Mac. Unless they make a trade Detroit will have a lot of problems with their rotations.
