2011 P 5'9 Danielle Lofton
Akins Lady Eagles
2011 P 5'09 Danielle Lofton played a great game tonight. Lofton finished with 23 on the night as Akins captured a key win in district play. The junior is very aggressive and active around the basket. Averaging 14 points along with 7 rebounds lofton will pose a match up problem for most teams as district play heats up. Danielle has good ball handling skills and is quickly developing a nice mid range shot.

2011 G 5'4 Vanessa Winston Continues to be one of the most impressive players in the area. The junior guard filled it up tonight dropping 32 against the Trojans in a key District 5A match up. Vanessa has Superior ball handling, passing and shooting skills with the ability to be very aggressive at the basket. She averages 13 points 5 assist and 4 steals per game. Anderson Lady Trojans
Tonight's District 5A match up between Akins and Anderson was a pure shoot out, as guard play seem to be a major factor. 2011 G 5'10 Kelley Gramlich was on fire tonight as she lead her Trojans into Eagle land. The junior G dropped 34 points knocking down shot after shot. Gramlich has great ball handling skills with the ability to pull up with the mid range shot. Kelley has excellent range from beyond the arc and don't mind taking you to the basket. ...Great Job Ladies
