Akins 63 Kerrville Tivy 27
Akins is really clicking on all cylinders right now. With the leadership of Winston & Lofton, Akins looks to be a solid force in District 15A.
(L) 2011 F Danielle Lofton of Akins notched 23. Danielle has really stepped up her game. Lofton is averaging 18.9 per game with a huge game last week at Seguin where she went for 29.

(R) 2011 G Vanessa Winston of Akins does an excellent job at running the point. Winston dropped 14 while contributing a number of key assist. Vanessa averages right at 15 per game on the season.
Connally 62 Elgin 25
Pflugerville Connally should do good things in District 16 4A. They are 12-8 on the season and Babola is giving them good consistent play.
(L) 2013 G Kara of Connally added 13 in the win against Manor. Kara is a nice Pg with a smooth game. The true sophomore has good size with great shooting ability.
(R) 2012 F Autum Shead of Connally notched 12. Wells has a nice frame and stands at 5'10. Wells is a nice force in the middle for Connally. She can clog it up and make you alter shots when attacking the basket.
Hutto 58 Hendrickson 50
Hutto is small but very scrappy. They pulled off a big win this week against district rival Hendrickson.

(L) 2011 G Haylea Jackson of Hutto is having a great season. Haylea dropped 14 in the big district match up against Hendrickson. This had to be a great time for Jackson as she went up against her longtime friend, and summer teammate Kathryn Tolbert. Haylea is small in size but packs a heavy punch. Haylea has excellent defense and loves to attack the basket.
(R) 2011 W Kathryn Tolbert of Hendrickson gave you 20. Tolbert can burn you in so many ways. With her size and ability to handle the ball she can make it a long night for anyone defending her.
(C) 2014 F 6'1 Ti' Aira Pitts of Hendrickson is quickly coming on the radar. Pitts has adequate size with a nice skill set. The young freshman has been a contributing factor for the lady hawks this season and will continue to do great things. Coaches you should definitely keep your eyes on this one. As she continues to develop and grow she will be a great prospect in the class of 2014.
