This past Saturday, 2013 G Justin Graham (shown below with the Texas D1 Ambassadors) of San Antonio Brandeis averaged 12 points and 4 assists, capturing the MVP of the Seguin Tournament. No small feat for a sophomore!

Last night, San Antonio East Central beat San Antonio Madison 67-62. They were led by senior G Edwin Solis with 24 and 2012 F John Baker who tallied 15. Madison is having a down year after the unexpected departure of 2013 G Travon Landry & 2012 W Christopher Campbell. I look for big things from hard nosed soph Vincent Jackson who had 8 points but isn't afraid to bang down low.New Braunfels Canyon 63-San Antonio Roosevelt 47
(l)2013 P San Antonio Madison's Vincent Jackson is a youngster to watch, while a healthy 2011 W Reinier Strobos (shown below with Texas D1) is a tough matchup when healthy for New Braunfels Canyon
It's great to see 2011 W 6'7" Reinier Strobos healthy again for Canyon. He had hamstring issues all spring and summer. He can be a force if he's able to move well. He led his squad with 16 points.
In other news, 2012 F 6'9" Jerred Kite has transferred from San Antonio Central Catholic to San Antonio Antonian. Kite was at Antonian last year. He's thin, but has skill. He could blossom into an impact player his senior year. Not sure how this affects his eligibility for the remainder of the 2010-11 season as the privates have rule differences from that of the Texas UIL.
