The Texas Ambassadors D1 - Austin Elite 15u team started the tournament off in style with a decisive win over the Mansfield Bobcats. Our seven girls came ready to play against their nine and played tough defense and spread the points around on offense. Going into the half Austin Elite was leading 23 to 4. Coming out into the second half the girls didn’t let up and continued to drive to the basket and hold strong on defense to finish the game 50 to 14. The girls look to keep up the momentum tomorrow with two games and then one on Wednesday before going into bracket play.
