The Chisholm Trail Classic is one of many tournaments being held over the next three days. I had a chance to catch a few match ups out at Pflugerville High School.
Anderson VS Bastrop High
Anderson came ready to play as they started out the gate very well. Anderson got an early 14 point lead and never looked backed. Bastrop continued to work hard and play aggressively but the full court pressure of Anderson got them out of rhythm. 2011 G 5'8 Kelley Gramlich showed she can do it all. Kelley who has signed with the University of Clemson will be a huge part of the Trojans success this year. 2012 G 5'5 Caitlin Kriessel-Bigler dropped 28 while knocking down several shots from downtown.

Emerging prospect 2014 F 5'10 Shondra Guillory played her first varsity game this weekend with the Trojans. The true freshman has majorly improved her skills. Shondra has elevated her ball handling & perimeter shooting, and will be a great contribution for Coach Hall & The Lady Trojans.

Bastrop was lead by 2011 G 5'7 Hillari Raemsch.The senior guard is pretty quick with the dribble and does a good job getting the team out in transition. 2011 C 5'11 Amber Jackson plays well around the basketball. With her size and athleticism she can be a monster on the boards and clog up the lane.
