After an amazing performance in the FIBA world cup, Luis Scola continued to dominate in the NBA 2010 – 2011 season. That is why if you are looking for a dominant Power Forward for your basketball fantasy this guy is a must pick player. He may not be well know for blocking shots but he can give you an average of at least 1.7 blocks per game for the whole season. He is not well known for his defensive performance but he is improving on it.
For the first week of the NBA season, Luis Scola averages 22 points per game and 11 rebounds per game. He is also shooting well from the field with a Field Goal percentage of 51 percent. So for basketball fantasy players you will be able to improve in 3 field stats with his help. He is also dishing out at least 2 or 3 assists per game which is not bad for his position. And when it comes to staying healthy, he has been out of the injured list for a long time.
Talking about consistency, you don’t have to worry a thing. Yao Ming is not yet in perfect shape so the front court line up of Houston Rockets will highly depend on the performance of Luis Scola. For the past 7 games, there was only one game that he scored in a single digit but he was able to grab 16 rebounds and dished out 5 assists.
So if you are looking for a complete player that will contribute every game, Luis Scola is one of the best you can pick. He will be effective all year long and you don’t have to decide if you are going to trade him or keep him because this player is a 100 percent keeper.
