Bulls

On Thursday, the Chicago Bulls released three players from their roster, G John Lucas III, G/F Kyle Weaver, and F Roger Powell.

Lucas, who played 5 games with the Bulls in the preseason, averaged 2.2 ppg and 0.8 apg in 6.4 mpg.

Weaver averaged 2.3 ppg, 2.3 apg, 1.7 rpg and 8.7 mpg in the 3 games he played for the Bulls.

Powell played a single game during the preseason; scored 2 pts and grabbed 1 reb. in 2 minutes of play.

The Chicago Bulls roster now stands at 13 with the projected starters being: PG-Derrick Rose, SG-Keith Bogans, SF-Luol Deng, PF-Taj Gibson, and C-Joakim Noah. The Bulls reserves include: Ronnie Brewer, Kyle Korver, CJ Watson, Omer Asik, Kurt Thomas, Brian Scalabrine, and James Johnson. The Bulls new acquisition,  Carlos Boozer will be the starting power forward when he returns from his wrist injury.
